Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is not really a sequel to the 2007 Ghost Rider movie, its actually more of a reboot, well yes Nicolas Cage is still the main lead but new directors, a new look and a new, darker tone. And if any comic-book character deserves the “dark” approach, it’s Ghost Rider.
