Samsung Galaxy Nexus – South African Launch and Pricing

Samsung has announced that their new Ice Cream Sandwich Android smartphone the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (aka Nexus Prime) will be launching in South Africa by early Quarter 1 of 2012.
In late October this year, Samsung revealed the first Android 4.0 smartphone, dubbed the “Galaxy Nexus”, the handset was well received with many calling the device one of the most anticipated gadgets for 2011. No doubt Samsung reigns as King of the smartphones this year, and with the huge success of their Galaxy series, especially the Samsung Galaxy S II, its no wonder why consumers are lining up to pre-order the iPhone rival.
“With Ice Cream Sandwich, our mission was to build a mobile OS that works on both phones and tablets, and to make the power of Android enticing and intuitive,” said Andy Rubin, Senior Vice President at Google Mobile.
