At this years Mobile World Congress (MWC 2012) Samsung unveiled its new tablet PC – the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. The alaxy Note 10.1 tablet takes its name from the hybrid smartphone/tablet – the Galaxy Note, the Note 10.1 however is a full fledged tablet PC and is equipped with a 10.1 inch high resolution screen and Samsung’s S Pen stylus technology.
“GALAXY Note 10.1 takes productivity on a Note to a whole new level. With a larger, fully utilizable screen and superior performance, it combines the intuitiveness of handwriting with all the versatility of digital content to let users be more productive across all of life’s demanding tasks—whether working, learning, or simply creating their own stories,” said JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 will run Google’s Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system, and will feature a host of functions such as :-
- S Note, which allows you to quickly make notes, sketches or storyboards. Using relevant information from different sources, such as the Internet, cameras and other media.
- S Pen, Samsung’s stylus technology that provides enhanced pressure sensitivity, improved accuracy and an analog pen writing experience on a digital device.
“With GALAXY Note 10.1 we are demonstrating Samsung’s commitment to extend the mobile category and are working with key partners like Adobe to provide extraordinary experiences for users that enable them to be more productive, express themselves creatively and add a touch of fulfillment to their lives.” concluded Shin.
