Halo 4 – Master Chief Returns November 2012
Microsoft and 343 Industries have announced the launch date for the next installment of the Xbox exclusive Halo series, the latest Halo game. Halo 4 is being developed by 343 Industries and will hail the return of legendary hero Master Chief, who is known as one of the most popular characters in gaming history. The game will launch worldwide on 6 November 2012, the launch news comes one day after tweets from Microsoft’s Major Nelson indicated some form of collaboration between Microsoft and Conan O’Brien, which sparked rumors of a potential launch date reveal.
Halo 4 marks the return of legendary hero Master Chief, named by Fast Company as “one of the most popular characters in gaming history,” and aims to set a new standard for blockbuster interactive entertainment with the launch. Set four years after the events in “Halo 3,” Master Chief returns to confront his destiny and face an ancient evil that threatens the fate of the entire universe.
