8ta Launches R30 BlackBerry Social & Email Plan
Local mobile operator 8ta has launched a new BlackBerry social and email plan which is a BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) that offers BBM, BlackBerry mail, internet browser, social networking, and BlackBerry App World and a web-based e-mail account (8ta-mail, Gmail or Yahoo mail) for R30 prepaid.
“We are dedicated to providing our customers’ real value for money and tailor-made offerings. Being first to market also demonstrates the flexibility in our state of the art systems and network.” says Amith Maharaj, Senior Managing Executive of Telkom Mobile.
The new plan will give you access to most BlackBerry features that are available under BIS, but will limit a customer to use one additional web-based email account as opposed to 10 web-based email accounts with full BIS.
