Afrihost launches MyBandwidth iOS App

Local and popular internet service provider Afrihost have launched their new iOS app called “MyBandwidth” which is basically a convenient mobile bandwidth monitor for Afrihost clients. The app is free and is compatible with Apple iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad, but requires iOS 5.1 or later.

All you need is your Afrihost ClientZone access details and you can see how much data you’ve moved or have left on your data package. According to the app page, an ADSL top-up feature is in development and will be released as an update to “MyBandwidth”. There are no details yet about an Android or BlackBerry OS app from Afrihost, so for now iOS users can download the app via the Apple App Store > here.
