Motorola Defy Mini Officially Launched

The Android powered Motorola Defy Mini has officially been launched in South Africa through Vodacom at a recommended retail price of R1,999 and it will also be available on contract.

Motorola created the Defy Mini as an anti-klutz smartphone, which means if you are one of those people who are forever dropping your mobile phone into puddles, drinks and other liquid-filled receptacles, then the Motorola Defy Mini could be the perfect cure for your cack-handed clumsiness.

The Motorola Defy Mini features a 3.2 inch TFT capacitive touch-screen, powered by a 600MHz processor with 512MB RAM, 3.15 mega pixel camera with VGA video recording, 512MB ROM with microSD slot for up to 32GB additional storage, dust and water resistant and runs Android OS 2.3.6 (Gingerbread).

At first the Defy Mini looks like a decent pocket sized Android smartphone but those lacking specs make the Motorola Defy Mini the ugly step sister when compared to the Samsung Galaxy Pocket which offers better specs for the roughly the same price.
