Vodacom Launches ‘The Power Hour’ Promotion
Vodacom has launched their latest promotion dubbed – “The Power Hour”, which offers subscribers 60 minutes Prepaid talk time which can be used between 6am and 6pm on weekdays for R5. The 60 minutes talk-time is only valid for the day of purchase and can be used on the Vodacom network only, so no calling friends who are on MTN, Cell C or 8ta.
How do I activate the Power Hour?
- Ensure that you have a minimum of R5 airtime in your account.
- Dial *111# and choose option 5 to get the Power Hour and follow the prompts to buy the bundle.
- You can check your balance by dialling *111#, choose option 5 (Power Hour) and then option 2 (Balance) to check how many minutes you have left on that day.
How much does it cost?
The Power Hour bundle costs R5. You will get 60 minutes talk time to call Vodacom cellphone numbers. You can use the 60 minutes for as many calls as you like totalling 60 minutes. After your 60 minutes have been depleted, or if you call other networks, you will be billed your existing Price Plan rate.
The promotion runs from 2 July 2012 until 31 July 2012, and is available to all Vodacom Prepaid customers who have been active on the Vodacom network for the last 30 days. You can buy one bundle per weekday for the time of the promotion and it expires at 6pm on the day of purchase. Check out the Vodacom website for more details.
