MWEB to host Inaugural Dota 2 Tournament

MWEB in conjunction with 10ten Gaming (a newly formed organization with the aim of hosting independent gaming tournaments) will be hosting their first Dota 2 Tournament, the event will mark their debut into the competitive gaming scene.

The Dota 2 event will begin as a Round-Robin tournament with a minimum of four pools each holding four teams. From there, the teams will play against each other in their pool, where the top two teams from each pool will progress to the Double Elimination play-offs. The event is structured whereby a minimum of 16 teams is required to enter. Any teams over and above the minimum could possibly be catered for.

The event will run over 49 days, with a minimum of 38 matches occurring in that time-frame. MWEB is offering prizes to the teams who finish first and second, in the form of Steam credit.
