Mad Catz Cyborg have unveiled their latest gaming keyboard – the S.T.R.I.K.E. 7. The S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 features a fully modular design which allows for modifying the layout of the keyboard and customization options to enhance overall comfort of the user. The keyboard is made up of five separate hardware modules – Control Module with V.E.N.O.M. TFT-LCD Touchscreen, Main Keyboard, Function Strip, NumPad and Part Active Palm Rest and Two Wrist Rests.
Boasting a robust, full metal chassis which is much stronger than most gaming keyboards, the modular design gives you the freedom to interlock only the components which matter most to you and your gaming style. Replete with a specially engineered membrane which mimics the tactile feel generated by the mechanical keys often preferred by gamers – - without the resultant excessive noise – - the S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 Gaming Keyboard provides a distinct competitive edge.
The S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 also has macro programming with custom timings, to macro keys or interface icons and each of the keyboard’s three different modes can store your programmed macros. Mad Catz collaborated with TeamSpeak’s development team to integrate their popular voice chat into the S.T.R.I.K.E. 7, once you have TeamSpeak running on the keyboard’s V.E.N.O.M. touchscreen, select specific game rooms to check who is online and who is actively talking. You can even control the chat volume from within the game you are playing.
